Today, was a marvelous day, I was appointed along with the other Japanese delegations. . A little after the USS Powhatan arrived in Edo to pick us up.It was one of the most exciting days of my life, me getting appointed, just imagine how great it was. There was a huge audience waiting for these Powhatan officers, along with the Japanese foreign minister. I never saw so many people before in my life! It was marvelous, but to tell you the truth I was kinda sea sick the whole time. I was nauseous the whole time, I must have thrown up at least a dozen times!
